Starting to feel more comfortable in the band and embelishing/improving upon playing. We got some fantastic feedback from our gigs last weekend - owner of the venue said we have a stellar sound going on, particularly the addition of my bass playing.

Taking a little bit of a break for the holidays, then hitting it pretty hard end of December into January. Sounds like the boys wanna track another album in June and July. I'm all over that. Will probably move a good amount of my recording/production gear into their space. It's wee, but we can make it work.

We have started to really refine the songs we've got, finding the best ways to blend our tones and styles together. The last rehearsal, in particular, we made huge leaps and bounds of progress in a trouble song because I started playing a funkier groove in the outro and Steve started playing these awesome spacey tones with his Twin and delay pedal. Dude, this shit is sounding better and better.

The tour is most likely going to be a national one Summer-Fall '09. Post your cities and I'll let you know when we're coming through. We'll also be looking for safe accomodations, if anyone has a room to offer ;)

The guys are so sweet - i really love all of their personalities. They're so welcoming and encouraging. Hung out with them tonight and talked shop.

My first two gigs with Cuban Cigar Crisis (in the same night!) went great :)
